Not everyone is comfortable accessing a shelter, for a wide range of reasons. We believe that should not disqualify an individual from having access to community resources and referrals. For that reason resources are free to any pet owner that might not otherwise have access to those services. Community resources and/or referrals can be accessed via phone, e-mail, or in an in-person meeting.
Resources and referrals are available to anyone – pet owners in need, social workers, veterinarians, teachers, outreach workers, etc.
To Access Resources:
Our department has access to countless resources suitable for human service workers, animal care professionals, and individuals that want to learn more about the links between animal welfare and humane welfare.
